Day 3 - The Ingeli Descent

Lake Eland Game Reserve - Dura Cycles

Leave Lake Eland Game Reserve after breakfast at approximately 07h30                                        
Time on Bikes : Approximately 6 hours
Stage 2 Distance : 60 Km
Destination : Dura-Cycles
Arrival Time : Approximately 13h00                                                      
On arrival at Dura-Cycles you will be treated to a sumptuous lunch and short presentation of those famous / infamous incidents that happened on your journey to the coast.

Day 2 - The Ingeli Descent

Ingeli Forest Lodge - Lake Eland Game Reserve

Leave Ingeli Forest Lodge after breakfast at approximately 07h30

Destination : Lake Eland Game Reserve

Day 1 - The Ingeli Descent

Today the guys will arrive at their leisure at Ingeli Forest Lodge, where our friendly tour hosts will meet and greet them with a smile. After a refreshing drink and snack they will be shown to their lodging . At 14h30 they will have the choice to spin their legs on some of the famous Ingeli MTB trails with one of our tour guides (approximately 20 Km). Or, they can relax and take in the fresh air whilst meandering through the forests listening and spotting the incredible bird species in the area, including the  Cape Parrot and Narina Trogan. In fact just get down and enjoy the ambiance and tranquillity of this magnificent country side. Late afternoon 17h30  there will be a short registration and collecting of bags for the start of the Ingeli Descent the next day. Supper in the charming Ingeli Lodge restaurant will follow.

"The biggest event of the South Coast FeverX Games will undoubtedly be the MTB Classic. “We’re offering a 25km and 45km MTB Classic that will start at our main base at the Margate Sports School and head into the farmland, before winding back to the finish which will also be situated at the base camp. All registration details can be found on the ROAG website,” says MTB organiser Mark Bolton.


South Coast FeverX – MTB – Sunday 19 December

  • 25km
  • 45km MTB Classic
  • as well as a 12km Fun Ride
The race will start at the FeverX Headquarters: Margate Sports School and head into scenic coastal farmland, before winding back to base camp.
The track is being designed by our local Bundu Bashers MTB Club and promises to offer something for all levels of mountain bikers. If you finish at the top of the log, you get to claim your share of the R15 000 prize money.
